Read along, or listen to this week's CoinPoker Newsletter here.
NewsThe Winter Festival heads into its final stretch. Three Main Events fire up this Sunday, boosted $15,000 CoinRaces have 10 days left, and the $100,000 Winter Masters Leaderboards are still wide open.
We’ll also chat about high-stakes cash game changes, a major bot crackdown, and Kayhan Mokri involved in another $1M+ pot.

📣 High-Stakes Update:
Personalized Rewards & 6-Max Tables
For cash games at $25/$50 and above, we’re introducing Personalized Rewards.
Most poker reward systems rely on generalized rakeback models. We take a different approach. We recognise the crucial role individual action players play in creating, sustaining, and growing high-stakes games.
Action players will be fairly compensated and rewarded to make sure the games are sustainable long-term.

Table Size & Rake Adjustments
At $25/$50 and higher stakes, all 7-max tables will transition to 6-max.
We are also introducing new NLH rake caps:
▫️ 0.5 BB for heads-up play
▫️ 0.6 BB with 3 or more players
These caps are designed to strike a balance. They allow players of all levels to remain profitable while enabling us to properly reward those who drive action and keep games running.
For games without action players, the effective rake will be significantly reduced, as there’s no need to cover additional rewards.
A Balanced Ecosystem
Our goal is long-term balance, transparency, and sustainability. We commit to the following principles:
▫️ VIP players are rewarded generously for playing in tough lineups, at a rate that keeps the games enjoyable and sustainable.
▫️ Our games will always be clearly beatable for players. This is a standard we hold ourselves to, and if we misjudge something, we are committed to working with the community to find solutions.
▫️ We aim to maintain a fair balance between rake revenue for the platform and win potential for professional players.
Personalized Rewards are designed to ensure every player has a fair chance to win, while keeping high-stakes games healthy and active.
Thank You For Your Support & Feedback!
This initiative is still at an early stage and challenging to get right. We expect to learn along the way, and community feedback and suggestions are actively encouraged and taken seriously.
We understand that players can be concerned when platforms appear to not hear them.
Poker is their livelihood, and we respect that. This is not our approach. Games on CoinPoker will always be beatable, and we hold ourselves accountable to that standard. You can rely on CoinPoker as your long-term home for online poker.
This solution is not perfect yet. Adjustments will be made, many of them based on player feedback. These changes are a necessary starting point, and we will continue to make meaningful improvements over time.
More details will be shared soon. To check your eligibility, email [email protected]

Rewards for High Stakes Pros
We love poker, and the players who elevate it. So, CoinPoker doesn’t only support action players, but also the professionals who transform poker into an art form. We’re happy to reward these skilled competitors.
Beyond providing fair, safe tables, we offer these pros lucrative rewards that surpass our normal rakeback. CoinPoker’s team customizes these additional benefits for games at $25/$50 or above.
This is our player-first approach in action, and it’s why we’re the trusted platform for high-stakes clashes.

🚨 Boosted CoinRaces: Only 10 Days Left
Quick reminder for the cash game grinders: There are only 10 days left in the Boosted CoinRaces.
Until February 1, every 4-hour leaderboard runs at 25% extra value, increasing the daily prize pool from $12K to $15K.

The leaderboards reset every four hours, which means active players can win more, more often. No need to play marathon sessions. Short, well-timed grinds also pay.
If you’re already playing cash, this is free value on top. If you’ve been sitting out, now’s a good time to jump back in before the boost wraps up.
📢 CoinPoker Bot Crackdown: $156K Refunded
Quick but very important update on game integrity.
Following a recent investigation, 98 bot accounts were permanently banned, and $156,446 was refunded directly to affected players.
Every operator faces challenges with bots on the platform, and the support of our community is essential in identifying and combating them. Thank you for that!

This week, $156,446 is being refunded to players following the ban of 98 bot accounts and the confiscation of their…
No PR spin. The money came straight from confiscated bot balances and went back where it belongs.
Bots exist everywhere in online poker. What matters is how sites respond. Our stance hasn’t changed: ban early, ban quickly, and protect the games.
That’s why the games on CoinPoker feel more human and why regs keep telling us they trust playing here.
💰 Kayhan Mokri Wins Another $1M+ Pot
Kayhan Mokri has been dominating the CoinPoker high-stakes cash game recently. Only a few days ago, he won a huge $1,075,962 pot against cardsforfun, and now he has done it again! Another seven-figure pot added to the resume.
A tough new challenger showed up in the CoinPoker lobby under the name ATAKA, widely rumored to be online legend Trueteller. The biggest stakes, no backing down. Exactly the kind of heads-up battle the railbirds want to see.
It didn’t take long for the two to clash in a massive pot. At $2,500/$5,000, more than 100 big blinds went in preflop in a classic coin flip, and they ran it once.
Last night there was a $1 million pot all-in preflop, and players ran it once. That strategy may be optimal when fighting for the lobby in heads up poker. pic.twitter.com/qy7D0YOi53

Kayhan spiked the ace on the turn and took down the $1,023,845 pot. The question remains: can anyone stop Kayhan? Perhaps it will be LLinusLLove, who was spotted at the high stakes heads-up tables this week, waiting for challengers from NL20K up to NL500K.

Giselle54 took the challenge on our $200/$400 PLO5 tables, and it appears they walked away with a huge profit. After a short session on two tables, Giselle54 sat out with over $400,000.
During the match, there was an interesting hand where Giselle value bet the river (thinking they held the nut straight), but it looks like a classic misread.
The board was J♦7♦A♠9♥K♠. Kayhan had turned the Jack-high straight, but the K♠ on the river threatened it. Giselle54 sent out a pot size bet of $19,000, and Kayhan typed “Show me Q♦T♦.”
But Kayhan called anyway, and took down a huge pot.

🪙 Exclusive CoinMasters Leaders Interview:
Meet Symmetry & GamblersFallacy
Two grinders are setting the CoinMasters pace: Symmetry and GamblersFallacy. They’re the only players to collect five unique Coins, putting them just two wins away from the Championship Final Table.
We’re proud to share our exclusive interview with the CoinMasters leaders.

Both stories start early. GamblersFallacy fell in love with poker at 16, grinding live events from 18 onward. Symmetry started back in college, intensively studying strategy long before the trophies came. Different paths, same mindset.
Symmetry was first to five, locking it up in the $11 DOGE Asia, while GamblersFallacy answered back with a win in the $100 PENGU. And when it comes to CoinMasters, both agree: it’s about playing for wins, not ladders.
GamblersFallacy:
“I stopped trying to ladder and started playing for the win. That’s when the Coins came.”
They also praise what makes CoinMasters different: real glory.
Symmetry:
“Winning here means more than money. Seeing your name in the newsletter or on the leaderboard is priceless.”
Their advice to the players? Don’t give up. Variance cuts both ways, and one heater can change everything.
Smart game selection helps too, especially CoinMasters Asia events, where smaller fields mean bigger edges.
Symmetry:
“If possible, always play the $88 and $22 CoinMasters Asia events, as the fields are smaller. Also, the competitors are tougher on the regular $25 and $100 events, as it is peak time, so all the regs are in there.“
Over $14.5M was already paid out from CoinMasters, and there’s still plenty of time to secure the final prizes. But right now, Symmetry and GamblersFallacy are the ones everyone’s chasing.
