Georgia will win the College Football Playoff National Championship for the third time in the last four years, according to our AI Supercomputer.

The likes of SMU, Michigan, Kansas State, Notre Dame, Tulane, Liberty, Oregon State, Wyoming and Toledo will also win their respective FBS conferences, but it is the Georgia Bulldogs who will once again be crowned the best college football team in America come January.

We asked our supercomputer to preview and predict the upcoming 2024/25 College Football campaign, and here are the results.

  • Georgia clinch third National Championship in four years with victory over Alabama
  • SMU win ACC conference, Michigan win Big 10, Kansas State claim Big 12 title
  • Penn State and Clemson underwhelm and miss out on playoffs

Georgia Win Third National Championship In Four Years, Predicts Supercomputer

The new 2024 College Football season is just around the corner, with Week 0 fixtures taking place this coming weekend. 134 college teams will compete in the FBS across 11 different conferences, with 12 teams making the CFP (College Football Playoffs) come December. Then, two will remain and battle it out at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia to see who will be crowned the CFP National Championship winners.

According to our AI Supercomputer, that team will be the Georgia Bulldogs from the University of Georgia. Having won the National Championship back-to-back in 2021 and 2022 respectively, the Bulldogs are once again being tipped by our Supercomputer to go all the way and lift the coveted College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy come January 20, 2025.

Georgia are being predicted by AI to win the SEC conference ahead of the likes of Texas and Alabama, before qualifying as one of the seeded favourites in the 12-team playoffs. AFter making the playoffs and winning their post-season games to make it to the biggest college football bowl game, the SUpercomputer foresees Georgia playing another SEC Conference rival in the Alabama Crimson Tide.

If our Supercomputer has got this prediction right, then it will be a repeat of the 2021 season final as well as the 2017 season final. As two of the biggest and historically best college football outfits in all of the US, this isn’t a totally wild call from AI whatsoever. In fact, you might even get some nice odds on this National Championship game actually going down come the postseason.

Last time Georgia made it to the National Championship they thrashed LCU in the 2022 season finale. Before that was the bowl game against Alabama the year prior, where the University of Georgia side ran out 33-18 winners. The Crimson Tide got the better of Georgia back in the 2017 season final, which coincidentally was at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Will we get a repeat of these two games come January? Time will tell but our Supercomputer certainly thinks so!

SMU Win ACC Conference, Georgia Win SEC, Michigan Win Big Ten, Kansas State Win Big 12

The upcoming NCAA College Football FBS Division I season is fast approaching, with fans super stoked to watch their favourite college footballers put it all on the line for another season.

The format has changed once again this year, with sub divisions in some of the conferences being scrapped. Only the Sun Belt has kept its east and west divisions, with the 10 other FBS conferences now all just one big division.

With that in mind, some of the familiar sides are set to have another strong college football season. The likes of Georgia, SMU, Michigan and Notre Dame are all being picked to win their respective conference by our Supercomputer, as are Tulane in the AAC, Kansas State in the Big 12, Liberty in the CUSA and Toledo in the MAC. Not to mention Wyoming winning the Mountain West, Oregon State triumphing in the Pac-12 and James Madison and Troy winning their respective east and west division in the Sum Belt.

With the new format, not all conference winners are guaranteed a place in the College Football Playoffs. As you can see by the below list, several conference winners are set to miss out on the playoffs. However, plenty of the usual suspects will make the postseason and put their name in the hat to go all the way to win the National Championship.

However, as previously mentioned our college football supercomputer is predicting glory once again for the University of Georgia and their relentless Bulldogs. Read on to check out the rest of the conferences and how all 134 college football teams in the FBS Division I are predicted to get on this upcoming season, according to artificial intelligence.

Commentary

Neil Roarty, Content Lead at Coin Poker, commented on the Supercomputer predicted 2024/25 college football season, saying:

“Our Supercomputer could certainly be onto something here with the Georgia Bulldogs once again becoming National Champions for a third time in four years.

“Not only could the Supercomputer be spot on with its prediction of Georgia being triumphant again, but its prediction of the 12 schools making the playoffs makes for interesting reading too.

“We fully expect strong seasons for the usual suspects such as Notre Dame, Texas, Alabama and Michigan as well, with a few surprise packages in there too. We are sure to be in for a blockbuster college football season if AI’s predictions are anything to go by.”

Methodology

Combining the likes of ChatGPT, Gemini and Bing AI, a prediction was formulated by artificial intelligence (AI) to predict the final standings of all 11 NCAA College Football FBS conferences.

After this, we asked our AI Supercomputer who would go on to make the CFP (College Football Playoffs) before winning the College Football Playoff National Championship come January 2025 at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

To make the Supercomputer prediction as accurate as possible, we provided it with extensive information about each school in all 11 conferences. This includes their recent form and how they performed last season, who their coach is, their best players, their financial position and the general feeling from fans about the upcoming season.

Based on all of these factors, the supercomputer predicted that Georgia would go on to win the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship.
