Guide: CoinPoker’s Transition From Old to New Software
On March 2, the CoinPoker player base moves to a completely new platform.
We’re debuting built-in poker features, new games, standout software, and giving 100% rake back to the community throughout the month.
We’ll explain the schedule for March 2 below, then answer common questions.
CoinPoker's March 2nd Timeline
Old CoinPoker Offline: 6:00 AM UTC
At 6:00 AM UTC, the old CoinPoker software goes offline.
- Cash games will wind down, and tables will close.
- Tournaments are scheduled to end around 3:30 AM UTC.
- All clients (app and browser) will show a maintenance message.
- Players will not be able to log in or make transactions.
On the other side, you’ll have the same account and the same balance.
MetaMask won’t be a login option on the new software, so reset your password using your CoinPoker-linked email address.
New CoinPoker Online: 6 PM UTC
At 6:00 PM UTC, the new CoinPoker software goes online.
- 12 hours of downtime is expected, but we’ll work as fast as possible.
- If there are delays, we’ll notify you on social media or by email.
- After the downtime, download the new software from our website.
- Log in using your usual email address and password.
When you log into the new software for the first time, we’ll send a confirmation email.

The old CoinPoker software will shut down before 6:00 AM UTC on March 2nd.
Cash games will slowly wind down as tables are closed gradually, and tournaments will all finish well before 6:00 AM UTC.
No. After the old CoinPoker software is shut down, players will not be able to access it. This is so our team can safely move accounts to the new CoinPoker platform.
All of your funds will be moved to the new CoinPoker software, so there’s no need to withdraw them. We’re keeping everything secure, and your account balance will be fully available when you log in to our new software.

Games will not suddenly end, so you don’t have to worry about any blackouts during cash games or tournaments.
We want you to finish your games without any pressure, so we’ve made sure that all tournaments will end ahead of the shutdown at 6:00 AM UTC.
Our team will slowly close cash game tables before the shutdown.
Players will be logged out automatically before the shutdown.
We will gradually close cash game tables, but not while you are in the middle of a hand.
Don’t worry, CoinPoker will not ruin your straight flush draw.
For the last CoinRaces on the old CoinPoker software, we will pay this out up to the point of the scheduled software shutdown at 6 AM UTC.
All tournaments have been scheduled so that they’ll end before the 6:00 AM UTC shutdown on March 2nd.
We don’t want MTT players to feel rushed on their journey to a final table.
Players who rank for prizes on the Weekly MTT Leaderboard will be paid promotional dollars (P$) on the new software within 72 hours.
Promotion dollars can be used for MTT entries, cash game buy-ins, or other games.
You should always have your email address and password memorized or stored safely in a high-quality password manager.
When the new CoinPoker goes online, you’ll need these details to log back into your account.
Your screen name will be saved and used on the new CoinPoker software.
Unfortunately, player notes will not be migrated to the new CoinPoker platform.

If you had an account on the old CoinPoker software, you already have an account on the new CoinPoker software.
We’re moving everything to the new platform, including your registered email, password, account balance, and more. There’s no need to create another profile or reinvent yourself.
Absolutely, yes. Your full CoinPoker balance will move from the old software to the new software.
We’re keeping everything secure, and it will be available when you log back in to the new platform, without any restrictions.
As we give our community 100% of the rake back in March, any Welcome Bonus active on March 2 at 6:00 AM UTC will not be migrated to the new software.
Rakeback payments that were earned on the old CoinPoker software will be credited before the shutdown at 6:00 AM UTC on March 2.
- March 2 to 15: 100% rakeback from cash games and tournaments, paid daily in USDT around 7:00 AM UTC. To collect, visit the wallet section and transfer rakeback rewards to your balance.
- March 16 to 31: 100% of rake generated will be distributed back to players via enhanced rewards such as Splash cash drops, cash game leaderboards (CoinRaces), and more.

Tournament tickets will be converted into promotional dollars (P$), which can be used on any CoinPoker games.
P$ will take a few days to reach player’s accounts after the migration to the new software.
Your current CHP balance migrates as-is on March 2, but won’t be usable in the new CoinPoker client.
From March 2, any remaining CHP from your CoinPoker account will convert to a USDT-equivalent promotional bonus.
From April 1, 2026, this bonus will be unlockable.
New CoinPoker Software:

After the shutdown is complete:
- Computer users can visit the CoinPoker homepage and click on the red Download button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Mobile users can visit the CoinPoker homepage and click the ≡ icon in the top right corner, then scroll down and click Download.
Use your usual registered email and password to log in. We’ll send you a confirmation email, and then you’ll be able to use the new software.
New players can register using the button below.
Register NowMetaMask will not be a login option on the new CoinPoker software. Players will need to reset their password ahead of the downtime using their registered email.

Depositing will essentially be the same on the new CoinPoker software, with a slightly different look.
Crypto users can still deposit from personal wallets or exchanges. Traditional methods like bank cards are also still available.
