What is EV Cashout?
EV Cashout is one of the many poker features available for cash game players.
EV Cashout allows you to claim your equity in real money when you go all-in before the river. Equity is your deserved share of the pot calculated on the basis of your current chance of winning the hand.
When you opt for EV Cashout, you receive your equity share of the pot and exit the hand. The hand continues as usual for the other all-in players, with the winner taking the whole pot.

How to Activate the EV Cashout
EV Cashout is a cash game feature, so your first step is to find a cash game.
1. Take Your Seat
Browse the lobby, and choose a table between $0.01/$0.02 up to $2,500/$5,000. Buy-in and take your seat.
2. Open the Table Menu
Click the three horizonal lines in the upper left corner of the mobile app.
PC players should click the settings icon in the upper right corner.
3. Open Your Table Settings
Look through the menu options, and select Table Settings.
4. Turn EV Cashout Off or On
Turn your EV Cashout on or off. When it is on, EV Cashout will be offered whenever an eligible all-in happens.
5. Use EV Cashout
The next time you’re all-in gets called by another player before the river, you’ll be offered the EV Cashout.
In your next cash game, remove the stress from which cards are coming.

- On Mobile, click on the ☰ icon in the top-left corner of the game table.
On PC, click on the settings icon in the top right corner of the window. - Click on Table Settings.
- Use the toggle beside EV Cashout to temporarily switch off the feature.
Consider the following situation where you are all-in, and you opt for EV Cashout:
- Pot size = $1000 pot
- Your equity = 90% = $900
- Table rake = 5% = $50
- EV Cashout Fees % = 3%
- Your Cashout: [(Pot size – Total Rake) x Equity] x (100 – EV Cashout Fees %)
You will get $837.90 as winnings after using the EV Cashout in this situation.
- Instantly claim your fair share of the pot: You can go all-in at any time before the river and opt for EV Cashout to instantly claim your current expected share of the pot, instead of waiting for the hand to end and accepting the actual outcome at showdown.
- Stay protected against potential bad beats: You can opt for EV Cashout to safeguard your share against rare, inevitable situations of bad beats.
- Play more hands with more confidence: It is good practice to play selective hands in poker. With EV Cashout, you can leverage playing more hands.
- Take control of the game with reduced variance: Poker is a game of probability and variance. Features like EV Cashout help secure your EV against such variance and swings.
In that case, all players exit the hand and receive their share of the pot based on their respective current equities at the time of going all-in before the river. Although the hand continues as usual, the outcome at showdown has no impact on individual player winnings in this case.
