Mystery Bounty Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about our twist on KO tournaments.
In a normal knockout tournament, players can win bounties at any time, and bounties are not random. Each player sees the bounty they win from knocking out another player.
But in a Mystery Bounty tournament, knockout prizes only come after the bubble, during the ITM (In The Money) stage.
Every buy-in grows the Total Mystery Bounty pool, and grows the prizes. The other difference is that prizes are randomly chosen after knockouts, and can be a range of amounts, up to the Golden Bounty.
Mystery Bounty prizes come after the tournament is In The Money (ITM), which starts once the bubble is finished. Knockouts before the bubble add chips, not Mystery Bounty prizes.
A share goes to the regular prize pool, the rest to the Total Mystery Bounty pool, plus the fee. Check the lobby for each event to see the exact breakdown.
This is the highest tier of Mystery Bounty in the pool. It’s the ultimate payout, and unlocks once per Mystery Bounty event.
You get one random Mystery Bounty per knockout, as long as you knock them out after the bubble. All of those prizes are revealed together. So, if you knockout two players, you’ll win two Mystery Bounty prizes.
The two eliminations are ordered. The first one, the eliminated player with the lower stack size, counts as the bubble and pays no Mystery Bounty. The second is the first In The Money (ITM) knockout, so it unlocks a Mystery Bounty as normal.
