When Coldplay take to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on Saturday night, it will be for a record-breaking fifth time as headliners.

This year’s festival falls during their ‘Music of the Spheres’ world tour which has already featured Stormzy, Aitch and BTS’ Jin.

Barry Gibb joined them on stage the last time they headlined in 2016 and, with frontman Chris Martin a regular guest during other artists’ sets – including both Stormzy and Kyle Minogue in 2019 – speculation is rife as to who might make a surprise appearance this time around.

Odds to appear on stage with Coldplay during their headline set:

Kylie Minogue 5/6

Beyonce 9/2

Ed Sheeran 6/1

Selena Gomez 6/1

Olivia Rodrigo 7/1

Jonas Brothers 8/1

Stormzy 9/1

Madonna 50/1

Will Harry Styles appear with Shania Twain?

Yes 4/5

No EVS

Harry Styles, meanwhile, is odds-on to appear during Shania Twain’s Legends’ slot on Sunday afternoon.

The former One Direction singer delighted fans at Coachella in 2022 by inviting Twain out for renditions of ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’ and ‘You’re Still The One’.

Shania declared that as a ‘highlight of her career’ and is expected to return the favour having already hinted that she’s considering replacing Brad Pitt’s name with Styles’ in the lyrics for ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’.

How will the headliners start and end their sets?

Dua Lipa is the first headliner on Friday night, with ‘Training Session’ and ‘Houdini’ the odds-on favourites to top and tail her performance based on the setlist from her ‘Radical Optimism’ tour.

Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’ is a regular finale and a 6/4 favourite to close the set but the opener might spring a surprise. An outside shout could be ‘Feels Like I’m Falling in Love’, which was announced last week as the first single from their tenth studio album, ‘Moon Music’, which is released in October.

SZA is the final headliner on Sunday who kicked off her festival tour in New York and Queens’ Gov Ball earlier this month, where she opened with ‘Seek and Destroy’ from her latest record ‘SOS’ and closed with ’20 Something’ from her first album.
