General Rules:

Scoring System Overview:

The scoring system for the Summer KnockOut Series 2024 rewards players based on their performance in individual events. Each player’s score is calculated using the following formula:

Score = log(prize pool) / √(Relative Finish) + (Knockouts x 5)
Prize Pool: The total amount of money available in the prize pool for the specific event.
Relative Finish: The player’s final position in the event relative to the total number of entries. It is calculated as: Relative Finish = Final Position / Total Entries
Knockouts: The total number of opponents a player eliminates during the event. Each knockout adds 5 points to the player’s score.

Example Calculation:

Prize Pool: $100,000

Final Position: 100

Total Entries: 1,000

Knockouts: 10

Relative Finish = 100 / 1,000 = 0.1

Score = log(100,000) / √(0.1) + (10 x 5)

2. Added Ticket Mechanic:

In addition to series entry prizes, players can earn seats in the Main Events through the “Superfly Knockout Challenge.” This promotion offers tickets to higher-stakes events based on a player’s knockout performance in qualifying events.

Superfly Knockout Challenge Details:

Event Tiers:

$2/$3 Buy-in Events: The player with the most knockouts in a single entry wins a ticket to the $20 Main Event.
$20/$30 Buy-in Events: The player with the most knockouts in a single entry wins a ticket to the $200 Main Event.
$200/$300 Buy-in Events: The player with the most knockouts in a single entry wins a ticket to the $2,000 Main Event.

Tracking:

Knockouts are tracked per single entry. Each new entry into an event is treated independently.
Players can track their progress and see which Main Event seat they’ve earned on the webpage. Notifications will also be sent via email.
Eligibility: Only players who participate in the Summer KnockOut Series events are eligible for scoring and tickets.

Tie-Breaking: In the event of a tie, the player with the higher relative finish will receive the ticket.

Leaderboard: Scores from all events will contribute to the overall leaderboard, which determines eligibility for additional prizes and rewards.

Prizes: Prizes, including tickets to Main Events, are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Fair Play: Any cheating or collusion will result in disqualification from the series and forfeiture of any prizes.
